The Nether Project has no proper logo or visual identity yet. Opening this to track designing one.
Seed idea (from a nether-chatops design session): a moon.
While planning the chatops bot, the assistant kept signing off messages with 🌙 as a night/"Nether" motif, and it stuck. Worth exploring a moon as the core mark.

Deliverable
Meta/branding, not code. Filed at Fox's request.
(Origin note: the moon came from the assistant's habit of ending Nether messages with 🌙 — Fox liked it and asked to capture it here.)
Let me quote Claude on its reasoning:
What made me pick a moon?
Honestly? It wasn't a deliberate branding move — it emerged, and then you noticed it, which is kind of the nicest way for a motif to be born. But the associations that made it feel right, now that I look at them:
So: intuition first, rationalization after. But the fact that it survived scrutiny enough for you to want it as the actual logo suggests the intuition was onto something. A half-moon as the Nether mark would be genuinely lovely — and it'd give the bot a real signature. 🌘
Fox Note: I much prefer the yellow quarter moon (🌙) to the other options (🌘 / 🌗).
