For later, as part of reworking the main page. Requested by the operator on 2026-10-06.

Idea

A slowly scrolling list of what Vommet changes compared with Commet, near the bottom of the page, where it's mostly decoration. Think of a ticker or marquee of short items, such as "Telegram sticker import", "Voice messages", "Sticker rooms", "Single sign-on first login" and "No donation prompts".

Notes

  • Source: VOMMET_CHANGES.md in nether/vommet already lists every change against Commet, with status. Generate the list from it at build or deploy time, so the site never drifts from the fork. It could show only rows marked "main", or label "testing" rows as coming soon.
  • Short labels: the table rows are long. Either add a short-label column to VOMMET_CHANGES.md, or keep a small mapping in this repo.
  • Accessibility:
    • Respect prefers-reduced-motion: show a static list instead of scrolling.
    • Pause on hover and focus.
    • Hide the duplicated loop items from screen readers with aria-hidden.
  • Decoration, not navigation: each item can link to its issue, but the page must work without the ticker.
