Goal: a homeserver admin can publish a support/donation link, and every Vommet user on that server sees it, without any per-client setup.

Suggested by a tester who runs a homeserver.

Proposal

  • Read /.well-known/matrix/support (MSC1929, in the spec): its support_page and contacts already exist. Optionally add a Vommet key for a donation link specifically (e.g. im.nether.vommet.donate_url, in the same file or /.well-known/matrix/client).
  • Show it per account: Settings › Account › Your homeserver ("Support dewrito.net" style item), and maybe a dismissible one-time note.
  • No admin detection needed: the admin just edits a static file their server already serves.

  • Spec field only, or also our own donate key?
  • Where it shows and whether it's dismissible.
