    Testing build — expect rough edges. Vommet is an LLM-assisted fork of Commet; please report problems on this repo's issue tracker, never on Commet's.

    Built from the testing branch (44995c2): main plus everything waiting for hands-on testing.

    What's new compared with Commet

    • Telegram sticker and custom-emoji import (t.me/addstickers/… links; animated stickers converted by our proxy) — #2
    • Picture mosaics for several pictures posted together — #11
    • Banners for ordinary rooms — #6
    • Search when adding existing rooms to a space — #10; remove a room from a space (right-click it) — #13
    • "Copy selection" in the desktop message menu — #9
    • Vommet name and logo; links and bug reports go to nether.codes

    Install

    Linux (Flatpak, x86_64)

    flatpak install --user ./vommet-testing-x86_64.flatpak
flatpak run im.nether.chat

    The GNOME 51 runtime comes from Flathub automatically. To update, install the newer file the same way.

    Android (arm64) — download vommet-testing-arm64.apk and open it (allow installing from your browser/file manager). It installs next to Commet as "Vommet"; later builds install as updates.

    Known limits of this build

    • Smoke-tested only: the Flatpak installs, all libraries resolve and it reaches the login screen. Not yet tested by a human: login, calls, notifications, screen share.
    • Flatpak updates are manual (no repository yet).
    • Not built for Windows yet.
